Tsafou StellaStella Tsafou is a Civil Engineer, she graduated from the National Technical University of Athens. Her diploma thesis was based on "Rapid Assessment of Vulnerability of Public Building".

She received her Masters Degree in Naval and Marine Technology and Science from the School of Naval Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens with a major in Marine and Offshore Technology. Her master thesis was on "Experimental and Computational Study of the Seismic Response of Natural Dry and Semi-submerged Slopes"

In 2018 she started her second postgraduate program at the Hellenic Open University in "Project Management".

Between continuous education and professional activities, she has developed her skills in the use of software programs for engineers.

She is fluent in English and French.

Alongside her studies, from an early age she worked in a family-owned business with project of construction building appartements in Attica where she laid the foundations for her professional career. Afterwards she collaborated with Technical Offices on Study and Issue of Construction Permissions, Land survey, imprint and regularize existing arbitrary buildings.

Since 2019 she has been working as a freelance professional and undertakes numerous studies, building permits and construction supervision with her associates.

In addition to her professional activities she has attended various seminars and conferences, some of which she has participated by publishing her research .

In October of 2019 she presented her article on “Image Analysis and Structural Monitoring of Physical Geotechnical Models Subjected to Seismic Loading” at the 3rd ICITG, Guimaraes, Portugal.

In September of 2019 she published a poster entitled "Experimental study of dry and semi-submerged scaled geotechnical models subjected to seismic loading, incorporating monitoring techniques" at the XVII European Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, Reykjavik, Iceland.

In June of 2016 she published the article “Seismic Vulnerability of Public Buildings in Greece: A First Approach to Rapid Assessment Control” at the 1st International Conference on Natural Hazards & Infrastructure, Chania, Greece.
